Helen is the Offerings Manager at NICA. She is responsible for developing new services and programmes of work to grow NICA and VOICE, always with the citizen at the heart.
Throughout Helen’s career she has focussed on designing and delivering exemplary stakeholder-focussed services to support strategic goals. In a former role with the British Transport Police, she was responsible for providing professional change management to establish a new Witness Care department in response to a Government initiative. Helen has worked at Newcastle University for eleven years and during that time has introduced multiple transformations to maximise efficiency and service levels to scale in line with the aspirations of VOICE, NICA, and the University. Most notably, she has worked on the development of the VOICE network and digital infrastructure, facilitating its growth from a local to a global organisation.
Helen is driven to turn innovative ideas into realities. She has an analytical mind and particularly enjoys being able to find innovative, practical solutions to develop new ideas, make improvements, solve problems, and negotiate their implementation.
