Collective Intelligence

Our task is to act as a Global Observatory and the National focal point and catalyst for research and innovation by companies, universities, research and development centres. It is a tangible collective of UK and Global Intelligence around ageing and longevity, which we are committed to identifying, collating, and sharing.



A non-profit, non-partisan US organisation that empowers people to choose how they live as they age. AARP and Age UK, founded the Global Council on Brain Health (GCBH) as an independent collaborative created to provide trusted information on how you can maintain and improve your brain health.

An Interreg 2 Seas project with the aim to keep people independent at home for longer. The project will improve both their quality of life and the quality of their environment through partnerships and digital solutions. The project will be delivered through the creation of comprehensive and coherent partnerships in conjunction with house adaptations, digital solutions and apps, with an expected result of creating a change in policy towards the prevention of the loss of autonomy of elderly.

Ageing Research at King’s (ARK)

This cross-faculty multidisciplinary consortium brings together scholarship and research in ageing in several complementary areas. The primary purpose of ARK is to enhance multidisciplinary research collaborations within King’s to better understand the mechanisms of ageing and improving health-span.

A global, mission-driven initiative to accelerate innovation in caregiving. This program, launched in partnership with digital innovation consulting company Shapeable, aims to build a data-driven insight, solutions and matchmaking platform that connects innovators with providers looking for next-generation and cost-effective solutions.

Babylon Health

Babylon Health aim to put an accessible and affordable health service in the hands of every person on earth. Babylon’s AI system has been created by experienced doctors and scientists using the latest advances in deep-learning. In September 2018, Babylon pledged £75 million to develop AI that will help GPs diagnose and manage chronic conditions. Headquartered in London, the company also has offices in the US, Rwanda, Canada and Malaysia.

Black Country LEP

The University of Wolverhampton is a member of the Dementia Action Alliance and undertakes Applied Research and Education in Dementia. The International Academy at the university is formally recognised as the first British university approved as a teaching centre to gain approval as an OET centre. This international English language test assesses the language communication skills of healthcare professionals who seek to register and practice in an English-speaking environment.
